If we deployed to google cloud hosted postgresql would it be better? #17

It's sorta slow atm

turns out... sorta. it's nice. but not sure it was worth moving to the new thing. the speed isn't huge. it's a fair bit more complicated to install. it's also only as convenient as it is because im using a GKE Autopilot cluster. if i hadn't, then i'd have to have setup a google cloud sql auth proxy which is a whole seperate other container and a pain in the butt to manage. anyway i'll monitor for a month. i can move back to crunchydata, worst case. i might even try just moving the data from Google back to CrunchyData to try and compare the speeds.
