New gem version

I really would like this to be done. The current version is eight commits behind.

I think the alpha and beta stuff is because the creator thought the gem was not officially done yet.

Sorry for lack of response - in the middle of setting up my new company and haven't had a spare minute to think about anything else.

Does anyone want to volunteer to take over managing this?

Hi Jules,

I took this project as inspiration for my own gem https://github.com/krautcomputing/middleman-bootstrap-navbar The code to generate the HTML is almost the same, so it could be pulled out into a common gem. So yeah, I would be willing to take over maintenance for this.
