Task: Evaluation of Tilt alternatives and recommendation for better path to production alignment

Description

Follow on the functional road map that decomposes the approach to better aligning deployment tooling with path to production and improving the local deployment experience, we will start with evaluating the Argocd as a local deployment tool or recommand an alternative deployment tool if Argocd is not the right local deployment tool.

Acceptance criteria required to realize the requested feature

• [ ] Create a wiki page that leverages the existing roadmap to capture the criteria for evaluating ArgoCD as a Tilt alternative
  • [ ] For each criteria, determine whether ArgoCD supports it natively, with some configuration, partially, or not at all
  • [ ] Document these trade offs, impacts to downstream projects, and any potential limitations (within reason)
  • [ ] If needed, investigate alternatives to ArgoCD (tbd based on looking at Argo first)
• [ ] Gather information from existing tilt users to make sure we cover the necessaries
  • [ ] Document feedback from Margret, Naman as potential evaluation criteria to be added
• [ ] Finalize the recommendation
