Localised language and region names

It should be possible to localise language names. This is useful in at least two cases:

• as a tooltip for the language selection list on the front page
  • It is cool that each language is listed with its autonym
  • but it would be helpful with a tooltip that gives the name of the language in the chosen locale (with the usual fallbacks)
• when clicking on these language buttons on the front page, the resulting page should have a localised title, Ie the localised language name

This does increase the localisation burden, but due to the fallback system one can choose what to localise and when.

Also, I suggest that the language list is simplified as follows:

Autonym then becomes the localised string matching the language code. And regions should follow a similar pattern:
