Backup fails on raspberry pi with broken config file being written

Bug was not relevant to borg: Hardware issues / SD card broke;

I am running into severe problems backing up my raspberry pi;

Version: 1.1.0 though replaced it with 1.1.4 to try to fix the problem

Things I already did:

• [X] Update to 1.1.4
• [X] Try to delete .config/borg and .cache/borg on the client (pihole) as well as the server side
• [X] Try to mount the directory instead of using it via ssh
• [X] Rebooted both sides, applied security updates, update packages via pip
• [X] Tried to validate FS integrity as well as borg repo integrity (both seem good)
• [X] Tried to run the very same thing without borgmatic but with a "normal" borg create call - same result.
• [X] Gave the written config file a look, it is indeed just full of 0x00
• [X] Actually create a new repository - still the same error
• [X] Actually creating a new repository via remote does not work too (see second log)
• [X] Create a local repository also fails

Sorry for the issue, the warnings/fs issues only showed up much later; thankfully i do have borgmatic backups to restore onto a new sd card

SD cards seem to be crap (or the rpi is dealing badly with them somehow). I also have seen some dying a young and sudden death (and they were not the cheapest, also not expensive, though).
