big endian archs and testing systems are rare, so guess this is the best we have:

powerpc and s390x are big endian.

MIPS CPUs seem to be increasingly rare even in their niche (low-cost networking equipment)
I think the only somewhat notable target that's BE these days would be s390x, everything else is LE (mips(64)el, ppc64el)
- Maybe SPARC, which is part of the GCC compile farm:
- https://cfarm.tetaneutral.net/machines/list/ (They got a US T3, a T5 and a pair of SPARC64-VII's -- seems like the most promising target, given software).
(32 Bit BE) powerpc has been removed from Debian a couple releases ago
