It's ok to add the infrastructure and some PoC translation for 0.2.0, but I think contacting translators and offering translations to the user should be a much later milestone.

Having translations lagging behind the current code is always slowing things down and incomplete translations are an annoyance.

Maybe use something based on gettext (.po files), so we can use transifex.com.
