problem with restoring the folder of my "firefox-profile" #1992

Description

Today I have used the first time Vorta 0.8.10 in MX-Linux-23 trying to restore a single folder. (Before I have used Vorta (until version 0.7.5) in MX-Linux-19 for 4 years.)

First when I click on this button... grafik

... In Vorta 0.7.5 it took some seconds until the message appeared "Get archive content done." After this message appeared it took further 10 seconds until the dialog window where the folder could be selected, appeared.

... But in Vorta 0.08.10 it took also some seconds until the message appeared "Get archive content done." After this message it looked like nothing more happens, but some minutes later (3-5) suddenly the dialog window, where we can choose the folder for the recovery appears. (So I have clicked a second time on it.)

So this is the first issue: After the message "Get archive content done." it tooks very long until the dialog field for choosing the folders to extract appears.

Now the second issue follows: As I want to restore my Firefox-profile, I go to the folder of it. I have checked the checkbox before the profile folder. In the next window I have made this: grafik

As it is only one folder my expectation was, that the restore will be very fast. I have made exactly the same thing with Vorta 0.7.5 in MX-19. This took about a minute there. But now in with Vorta 0.8.10 the PC was busy for half an hour. So I have aborted the process. My fear was, that it tries to restore my whole backup which is 250 GB. This is, why I have aborted the process.

Some more info: As already mentioned I have changed from MX-19 to MX-23 by preserving my home. So after having installed Vorta on my new system, I was able to start Vorta on my new system and all was already there. I also had my old backups from MX-19 (they are on an external HD).

This is what I have done right after the installation of MX-23 and after the installation of vorta some days ago: I have taken the old repository of my MX-19 backup. And as all in MX-23 is the same as it was in MX-19 it was not needed to change any setting. so I have just made an additional snapshot with vorta without deleting the snapshots I have already had from MX-19. This worked well. After I have made a repository check. It was well.

And only then as described above I have tried to restore the firefox profile folder from this new (MX-23) snapshot.

What has happened? Any idea?

Same issue, when I take borg 1.2.7 and use a new repository created right for MX-23. I have issue 1 and 2. (Hint: When I only restore a little *.jpg instead of my Firefox Profile folder the restoring process is successful.)
