Need awake to wakeup remote backup targets (e.g. NAS, SSH, NFS, CIFS)

Why have you closed this PR? What speaks against awake?

We don’t want to add lots of packages to the image. There’s going to be some effort to make it so users can populate a variable with a list of packages to be installed additionally
