For grammar in some areas in the introduction to improve readability

Hey Boris!

I’m wandering around github and editing READMEs for a class. The goal is to edit the text to be easier to read while not changing any sentiments. The README is the first point of contact for all potential contributors and I hope these edits will end up helping out at least a little.

Thanks! I will consider some of the changes, but your grammar is... imperfect :). And many edits change the meaning, in untoward way. Anyway, appreciate your interest :).
