Fcitx5 input method doesn't work with terminology in Debian12 KDE wayland #182

Hi, Terminology is a great terminal, thank you! I've installed it in on Debian12 with KDE(wayland), terminology version: 1.13.0-2 I am using fcitx5 as my Chinese input method, it works well in GTK and QT applications, but I can't switch to fcitx5 Chinese input method in terminology what so ever. I tried to set the ECORE_IMF_MODULE with fcitx, xim, fcitx5 and tried many different IM MODULE environment variable settings, still can't get the Chinese input method to be working in terminology. I tried other terminals like kitty, alacritty and konsole, the fcitx5 Chinese input method all works well, so I guess it's may related to terminology.

I've attached the fcitix5-diagnose info, hope it helps.

Thanks! fcitx5-diagnose.txt
