changing language on SERP loses state #22

If the users are seeing a full-text or URL SERP, and switch the language 
(EN->PT or PT->EN).

The users jump to the home page of the site in the desired language 
(http://arquivo.pt/index.jsp?l=pt) but the query and search results are lost.
