It's definitely possible, and would be fairly straightforward (though not trivial) to implement. I don't have any imminent plans to implement this, given limited time, but it's an enhancement I'd considered before (I actually do some cryptocurrency development at my job, but I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole for my own money 😀).
I noticed that the Currency Converter API that this tool uses now supports Bitcoin (see list of supported currencies). That means you can now use currency code BTC
for Bitcoin accounts.
Hi! Thanks for creating this useful tool.
I'm Dutch, living in Malaysia and have accounts in 3 different currencies.. it can get tricky.
I also have some holdings in bitcoin / ethereum. Would it be possible to add this as a currency to this tool? The Nomics.com api (https://p.nomics.com/cryptocurrency-bitcoin-api) would probably be succinct in getting the required currency conversion rates.
I'm unfortunately not really capable at RUST and definitely not good enough in coding to learn the nuances, so I understand if it's not possible, just curious :)

P.s. As alternative option I was thinking to make a little app that fetches the conversion rate (compared to my base currency) every 12 to 24 hrs and updates the asset amount in YNAB.
P.p.s I could be of help with the front-end & design if you'd like. Preferably using something like NextJS. I'm learning. Might reach me at t.me/dylandamsma
