Hardware seemd fine, I have uploaded a OHTI-ref.zip in to the library directory, download this it contains screendumps a HowTo file and the addition local libraries I have in my environment for OHTI developement.
The latest is in a ongoing work to get the https://github.com/trsonic/nvsonic-head-tracker nvsonic-osc-bridge to work with ohti serial and also bridge the osc broadcasts
My handling of how to document is not Github best paxis, but hope it helps anyway. Please contact me if you need additional info. Bo-Erik
Thanks. But I cannot open the OHTI-ref.zip archive, it says it is corrupt... Perhaps is it still uploading? If I manage to get it, I will report if it works. I already have the NVtracaker since several months, and work fine with the USB connection to my laptop. I wanted to try your OHTI project for a wireless connection. My Waves NX tracker is not arrived yet, I hope to receive it tomorrow. Thanks. Bye

I managed to download the ZIP file and to load all the libraries. Now I am following your screenshot. I have problems setting up the Port, as the Ports option is greyed out. Perhaps an USB driver is required for this Arduino board? Bye Angelo

Success!
I managed to configure the port after installing the required USB driver. The program compiles, and I connected successfully the board through WiFi...
Now I am going on with the setup. Many thanks for your support!

On the Internet I did only find version 2.0 of the Nvsonic Head Tracker OSC Bridge: https://github.com/trsonic/nvsonic-head-tracker/releases
It actually receives correctly the data from your OHTI wifi unit, as shown here:
However I cannot manage to connect it with IEM SceneRotator, despite setting it up with the proper IP Address and UDP Port. No data is received:
So it appears that I need the same version 3.0 of the Nvsonic Head Tracker OSC Bridge. Where can I find it? I see it on your OHTI WiFi github page...
Thanks. Bye

HI Angelo,
I haven't released the 3.0 version yet. Here is a recently compiled binary: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UAPDT5TRy7EmoW4F5_AKwGdtMvQhmOw8
You need both exe and presets.xml files in the same directory to run it.
Very best, Tomasz

If you install the SpaceRotator in a reaper track and connects the OSC to port 9000 and in addition makes sure the port 9000 is allowed in the firewall.
The headtracker and the PC/Mac needs to be on the same WiFi network.

If you install the SpaceRotator in a reaper track and connects the OSC to port 9000 and in addition makes sure the port 9000 is allowed in the firewall.
The headtracker and the PC/Mac needs to be on the same WiFi network.

Thanks! It works perfectly now! So now I can use the OHTI headtracker with wired connection to my PC, exactly as with your Nvsonic headtracker... I think that this is an excellent solution! Bye!

HI Angelo,
I haven't released the 3.0 version yet. Here is a recently compiled binary: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UAPDT5TRy7EmoW4F5_AKwGdtMvQhmOw8
You need both exe and presets.xml files in the same directory to run it.
Very best, Tomasz

It actually receives correctly the data from your OHTI wifi unit, as shown here: [image: image.png] However I cannot manage to connect it with IEM SceneRotator, despite setting it up with the proper IP Address and UDP Port. No data is received: [image: image.png] So it appears that I need the same version 3.0 of the Nvsonic Head Tracker OSC Bridge. Where can I find it? I see it on your OHTI WiFi github page... I managed to receive the OSC stream through wifi on port 9000, but it has a terrible latency, almost 500 ms... Instead there is no latency when receiving the stream through the USB cable and the NVsonic OSC Bridge... I was expecting that the wifi had small latency. What could be the issue? Thanks. Bye Angelo

Also the latency problem is solved now. I detached the PC from the same 2.5G wifi to which the headtracker is connected, and attached instead to the same device but using its 5G wifi radio. Now the latency is much smaller: not so small as with the wired connection, but well usable. Thanks for everything! I am very happy now... Bye Angelo

Hi Bosse, Angelo Fartina here. I just assembled the hardware required, following your suggestions: a D1 Mini - ESP8266, v3.0 board and I soldered with just 4 pins over it the IMU (GY-BNO055). The assembly looks identical to the one in your photo. I Installed the Arduino IDE v. 1.8.13, downloaded from Github all the project for the OHTI-HT-osc-wifi, placed the three .ino files each in his own directory, and attempted to open them in the IDE. I suppose that the good one is the last one, named OHTIR2-oscIEM_NVbridge.ino The code did not pass the check, first because I needed to install the OSC and WIFI libraries. After solving this problem, I still get a number of errors. I think that a proper guide is missing for explaining to a novice, as me, the proper steps for being able to upload the code to the D1 Mini board... I am not even sure to having configured properly the Arduino IDE for this board. After installing the ESP8266 board driver, I see it in the IDE as Tools - Board: "LOLIN(WEMOS) D1 R2 & mini". Is this correct? Is there any other steps required for compiling your code and for uploading it successfully to this board? Thanks
