Can't set wallpaper #4

Hello, as I said on Reddit, I can't set wallpaper: https://www.reddit.com/r/fossdroid/comments/l66has/apache_20_gallerywall_opensourced_automated/

I have installed the app, set "search for" and "update period" but nothing happen.

If I try to set another wallpaper from the launcher I can't set "GalleryWall" so it remains my wallpaper.

Some information:

Pixel 3a XL Android version: 11 Build: RQ1A.210205.004

Hello, just reinstalled and yes same issue.

Background does not change

can you try to put the home widget and press the Refresh button? (you should also see the notification that shows a preview of the image to be placed as wallpaper) @skariko

It works but just one time. When I click the refresh button it changes the background but after 15 or more minutes nothing happen

thanks for the clarification. Do you get a new notification when the wallpaper is about to change? Sometimes due to OS battery management, the timer can trigger with small delays, but also it needs to have an internet connection at that time, otherwise, it will just skip that.

I'm trying to reproduce the issue with no success. I can see it refreshing fine while the wifi on.
