Program kills itself + system logout

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Started Airmon   : OK
2. Started Airodump : OK
3. Stop Airodump    : FAIL, GUI stops and system logs me out. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

-Airodump should stop while program should continue normal. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

-1.0.0 Beta 2 (0.7 does the same)
-Ubuntu 14.04
-Running on a notebook (high-end)

Please provide any additional information below.

-I tried different versions, all do the same. All sources appear to be 
installed correctly.
-Besides my internal card i tried an external USB adapter as well, without 
succes.
