More Layers!

What should this feature enhancement do?
Make more layers available in the API version - especially things like
real-time weather, volcanoes/earthquakes, some of the United Nations layers. 

Are there any known workarounds that produce the similar results?
I am no programmer, so I have no idea. Would be happy to use them if
someone tells me about them!

Geographic Features and Parks &

I would like to add Wikipedia, YouTube, Pictures (Panoramio) to the GE plugin.  
Since these are, in themselves, webpages, it seems only logical to have them in 
the web browser plugin for GE.

As far as USGS topo maps - ESRI has a kml that you can utilize:
http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services
There are several kmls that you can bring in (not all services have a kml), 
including the US Topo Maps.  I have had issues with how I have implemented it - 
It won't load if I bring it in when I am zoomed in, but if I zoom out to the 
whole earth, it loads and I can continue to zoom in with it refreshing 
normally.  Enjoy.

 I am interested in google earth adding a layer or app that would overlay isotherms
worldwide. I've been watching isotherm maps throughout the fall for 40 years, 
as they
can be read to accurately predict the onset of severe cold three weeks in 
advance. 
coupled with the cloud layer (all other input closed ) google earth is the best 
meterology tool ever.
