There is another screenshot, from maps.google.com Earth view. In this case the
bug don't appears in the beginning, but only after browser window is resized.
Every time window is resized, the "contents" of iframes change.

MacOSX 10.5.8, Firefox 4.0

I'm having a similar issue with iframe shims in Firefox 7.

Areas where the iframe shim is appear white or gray, and the HTML content above
the shim & plugin is not visible.

The presence of shims (including the one under the default "Terms of Use" link)
also causes rendering problems which are easier to see if you zoom in a bit.
See the attached screenshots.

I'm seeing the content above the iframe shim in FF 3.6.3, 6.02, and 7.0.1 (in
OSX 10.7.2), but get various rendering problems for each (see screenshots). I'm
getting the same problems with my own variations of iframe shims over the
plugin. In particular, the globe is only interactive in the portion displaying
in the bottom inch of the window (no event response in the main globe) for FF
3.6.3 and 7.0.1, though this is an intermittent problem.
