no response to installed version #879

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Click to Load the program  Nothing happens
2.try to uninstall program, get error message

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
The image of a blue earth growing larger.

Which plugin version are you using?

installing latest version over already installed version 5,
Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
Internet Explorer Win 7
