Google Earth will NOT install on Win 8 computer #901

What steps will reproduce the problem? >>> SEE 1 & 2  BELOW

>>>  2. try to install (it would not, even after 4 attempts)

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?

____The installation simply did not install.  Nothing happened.___

Which plugin version are you using?

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?

Currently Windows 8 is not officially supported, however there is a current 
feature request for support.
