Blue Screen of Death in NVIDIA Driver #924

Has there been an internal change to GE API between March 25 and 31, 2013?  
I've been running an application similar to the demo "Driving Simulator" for 2 
years without incident.  With no changes to my PC, I now get a blue screen of 
death when GE renders on my NVIDIA card.  Code 0x7f (divide by zero).  Happens 
in laptop NVIDIA Quadro but not in desktop NVIDIA GForce.  All hardware checks 
out OK. "Driving Simulator" now also BSOD.
