Installation defect? Missing Menu to scoll, turn etc. (eye)

Hi,
In Maps you have at the left side a Menu to scollin or turn. In Earth it has 
been at the right side.
Now after installing Win7 and new Earth it is missing.
Even my places are not shown neither streets. Scrolling by mouse works, but you 
cannot point a wanted place with it.

So I Think something goes wrong by installation. Newly installed again it shows 
no difference.
In fact, it is useless, cause you cannot find a place and scroll in to see it 
closer.

1.) Is it a wanted feature not to have scrollbars any more?
2.) How to fix this problem?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
I want to see menu and places etx

Which plugin version are you using?
Just downloaded and installed the newest version

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
Maps on Firefox works. Earth looks like an own programm. If it is not I don't 
know how to find out on which system it works.

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.
