Boto3 - Neptune MasterUsername & MasterUserPassword #1778

As per the documented API operations: we have the option of providing MasterUsername & MasterUserPassword. However, the actual API call fails with the error below:

botocore.exceptions.ClientError: An error occurred (InvalidParameterValue) when calling the CreateDBCluster operation: The parameter MasterUsername is not valid for engine: neptune

I don't really know as this is service behavior and doesn't have to do specifically with boto3. And I don't use neptune myself so I have no idea how it works. Though the docs do say 'not used' on the page you linked.

 MasterUsername

    The name for the master user. Not used.

If you want clarity on this you would need to contact the service team itself maybe on their Forums or you could try AWS Support.
