About current maintaining condition #1372

I see a lot issues and pull requests left with no answers/replies. Is Bottle pending on some work like a major release? It'll be good know about current condition/expectation here. Thanks for this great framework, hoping to contribute for it someday.

Bottle is more or less feature complete and in maintenance mode, receiving bug-fixes, but no major development or drastic changes. Just today there was a release to fix a small bug with potential security implications. So yes, this project is still maintained. https://xkcd.com/2347/ may apply, though.

The issue tracker could use some cleanup. Some issues are already fixed, some are not really bugs but questions, and lots of pull requests have good ideas, but do are not merge-able without some extra work and I rarely find the time to really discuss these issues nowadays. I should probably say 'no' more and not keep these open indefinitely.

It's good to know Bottle is still under maintaining, thankfully. And very well said of the comic :) I'll close this issue now.
