Battle.net installation uses the entire CPU (OS is not operable and then crashes) on Linux Mint 21 #154

I don't know the source of the issue and I know the bug is pretty vague because I can't look at htop when I run this to see what's going on because bottles is taking the entire CPU, but it seems like whenever I try to install battle.net installer bottles is taking the whole CPU.

From what I was able to see it seems like the main process was taking 100% CPU and there were a lot of subprocesses of explorer.exe (for some reason ?).

This is a fresh installation of bottles v. 2022.10.14.1 from the Linux mint software manager (via flatpack from https://usebottles.com/download/ here) In a newly created bottle with default configs except that I changed the runner to Caffe 7.18.

I tried multiple times with the same result

specs: OS: Linux Mint 21 x86_64 Kernel: 5.15.0-52-generic DE: Cinnamon 5.4.12 CPU: Intel i7-10700 (16) @ 4.800GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Memory: 15920MiB

(So not something that should crush from a simple installation of battle.net)

I had this same issue but realized it was a relationship between Glava and the installer. They did not get along at all. As soon as I terminated Glava, my desktop performed normally. So I would try terminating any other programs/apps/widgets that display overlays Also, the install went much faster when I installed using the installer from the battle.net website.
