You don't have an Installer for Quicken for Windows. I've been trying for over a month to install Quicken on Linux (Fedora 35). Here's my thread on the WineHQ forums:
and, at best, end up with Quicken installed but it errors out immediately after launch.
I had tried earlier with the RPM version of Bottles and couldn't get it installed. I just tried again in the latest flatpak version (2022.5.14-trento-3) while reproducing the criteria in the WineHQ instructions, and, again, ended up in the same situation. If you want, I can give you the exact things I did trying to get this work. But, I think I'm beyond my abilities here.
Describe the solution you'd like
I really need an Installer for Quicken that's been produced by someone with far more knowledge than I have.
Other solutions?
The other times I've tried Linux, I've used Crossover and it worked. From my thread on their forum:
We can't promise to provide an installer for every program but I'll check it.
If you have the knowledge check our maintainers docs: https://maintainers.usebottles.com

I've followed their "instructions" for the latest version they list:

and, at best, end up with Quicken installed but it errors out immediately after launch.

they claim it ought to work these days now. I just don't want to once again double my Quicken subscription fee subscribing to Crossover.
Right now, I'm running it in a Gnome Boxes virtual machine running Windows 10. But, it's really a pain doing that.
And, of course, my final alternative is once again going back to using Windows (which I don't want to do).
