I’m in the middle of building this conversion, and I haven’t gotten around to assembling the XZ blocks. I’ll print these out and compare when I get a chance.
Ooof, I've forgotten about this, looks like on the genuine switchwire they don't, but the issues I was having were caused by excessively large fillets. I think there's an improved part live on my GitHub that fixes the filleting but that's just a cut with the squarest 2020 profile I could find.

I forgot to actually print the modified XZ blocks made by strayr, and ended up using the cut edge of the Misumi extrusion like a double-sided plane to shave the parts (and a small portion of my thumb) until the alignment tabs fit snugly into the groove of the extrusion.
See image from interference analysis, the parts don't quite sit straight. There's a leg that needed extending as well that helps keep the parts square. I've made some fixes. https://github.com/strayr/Ender3_switchwire_fixes/tree/main/XZ-blocks.
I've done a T-slost version as well as I didn't want to cut up my ender 3.
I hope this is helpful, I'm not sure if I should be posting issue here or to triano's verion 2?
Hello @strayr,
The reason behind this difference is to make the part "clamp" while it gets tightened by the screw on the v-slot groove of the extrusion. It was intended to be like that (this is also done to several other parts of the mod).
I can't get it to sit straight on the extrusion, although that's probably the corners not the v-slot, I went through a few iterations before I found something that worked for me. Maybe you're printing in something that shrinks less or is more compliant? I'm using eSun ABS+

Hello mate,
This was carefully considered in the new Rev.2 and was modified accordingly.
Cheers!
