Fix and update examples, add CI check #15

Small fixes and updates to the example notebooks, to be compatible with the latest xBOUT and xarray.

One new feature: surface plot example in the elm-pb notebook.

Adds a CI job that tests that the examples run without an error for pull requests and on a schedule (once a week).

Fixes #14.

I think this PR needs to wait for a new release of xBOUT to fix the CI error.
