Repeatedly disconnected from Server #48

The application was always disconnected from the server. Maybe the docker image has some problem. This is very frustrating because you have to repeat the whole analysis process after disconnection and you don't know when will it happen.

I have been having this problem for months. Extremely frustrating.

I installed the docker on a stronger server and now it works fine. I guess the repeated disconnection is somewhat due to the limited power of my previous computer.

Hi Larry,

this is an issue of having genome-wide screens in combination with less-strong hardware running CRISPRAnalyzeR. In addition it is extremely important to have websockets and all latest streaming protocols being supported by e.g. proxy servers.

If you run it on your laptop @mfwells5 , please make sure to only run one screening analysis at once. Once hard disk buffer allocated to docker is running full, shiny-server will crash. To check that I need more information such as underlying hardware, startup options, docker version, hard disk space (SSD or HDD), RAM and the used screening library and FASTQ.GZ data size.

I am having the same problem. It immediately disconnects me from the server, once I click "upload and check" on the crispranalyzer web interface. Now, my question is there any specific login that I need to use to be able to access the server. I remember seeing a username and password when I was reading the manuals, but I can not find that anymore. I vaguely remember the username was crisp and Password was Cas9, although I am not sure whether there is something to do with server access. Also, in the installation manual, it says that Highcharts, the COSMIC database, and the Enrichr API access require additional licensing for commercial use. But as a student, for my personal (non-commercial) use, how can the database know that I am using it for non-commercial purpose. Can it also be the reason for server disconnection? I am trying to use the provided demo data from the Crispranalyzer webpage which is around 1.28GB. Looking forward to hearing from the experts.
