Multi-language support #4

I know this application is very basic yet but if you have a few plans to enhance it it would be good to see in other languages. Could you add it please? Launchpad would be ideal I guess.

These (#2, #3, #4) are all very good ideas. I'd like to do it, but looking at my personal task list, it's unfortunately highly unlikely that I get around to implement any of these in the next couple of months...

I have only the PPA on launchpad, not the source code because I do not have the time to learn another version control system -- bazaar. But I guess the more important question would really be how to implement I18N/L10N in the code, right?

Sadly I have no clue. I'm not a developer. I got only ideas :( But as I understand your problem is that the text scripts are in the code and you don't know yet how to separate them from it. I would like to help but I'm just a noob.

I' was fairly inactive but I wanted to notice that the translation does not appears on Ubuntu. It's still use English somehow on my system. I also tested on a freshly installed laptop, but same happens.

I'm afraid I really don't know how to go about this. But frankly, this app just shows the IP, which is locale-agnostic. Does it really matter so much that this app has three English context menu items on a non-English system?

ViBE-HU commented 7 years ago

@bovender Lol I wanted to comment to another thread. So no, it does not matter since we only got a tiny context menu 😄
