Are there any updates planned for this repository? #445

Do you plan to support this sdk or we need to switch to java sdk?

Hi @rpavliuk Android SDK is currently in maintenance mode, which means only critical issues will be fixed. There is a long-term plan to make the Android SDK api parity improved to the level of our other SDKs, but I can't give you a time frame for when that will happen at this point.

As of May 31, 2023, Box will no longer support Android SDK We will no longer support Android SDK as of May 31, 2023. Customers will be able to use their existing Android SDK applications with no impact, but will not receive new features, updates, or bug fixes.

If you would like to continue getting the latest and greatest Android features, we recommend using Java SDK to build apps on Android. Refer to this documentation for more details.

In the future, we'll revisit the suggested approach of building android apps, for now please use Java SDK for any new development.
