I can confirm this issue. Works fine with a normal gmail account... =(

I can also confirm that this is a problem. ERROR (user unknown) appears after
logging
in from Chrome.

Thank you for the hard work

Confirmed for me, as well.

The ability to allow *any* Google App account login is not supported by
AppEngine. You can probably make this
work by creating a Google Account with the same e-mail address as your Google
Apps account. See
http://smarterware.org/5271/google-gmail-and-google-apps-accounts-explained

I have created a Google Account with the same Google Apps email address and
this is
what I was testing with all along. Still not working. Other users have reported
it working
with this setup.

So this issue is now closed??

Can you paste any errors from adb logcat? I can check your email -> device ID
mapping in the database if you
send me (off thread is fine).

This is from logcat:

I/ActivityManager(   82): Starting activity: Intent {
act=android.intent.action.MAIN
cat=[android.intent.category.LAUNCH

phone/.ActivityUI: pid=534 uid=10022 gids={3003}

D/dalvikvm(  534): GC_FOR_MALLOC freed 1086 objects / 93080 bytes in 49ms

But now the problem has changed for me. I tried unregistering and registering
again
but it can't seem to do it.

How can I send you off-thread? How can I get your email? Or are you on google
talk?

Just to follow up on the problem. My Google Account works fine with JumpNote
(http://code.google.com/p/jumpnote/)

Confirmed that there is an issue with apps for your domain logins from the
phone (even if they have an
associated Google Account). Investigating...

Turns out Android authenticates against the hosted (Google Apps) account, even
if there is a corresponding
Google Account. Supporting Google Apps accounts requires fundamental changes to
Google infrastructure,
beyond the scope of this project.

How come jumpnote works then? (http://code.google.com/p/jumpnote/) Its built on
the
same technology right?

Well, that sucks. I'm not going to log out of my google account just to log
into my gmail account to send a link.

I wish Chrome To Phone would all you to enter login credentials similar to the
Google Voice app, which totally fixes this problem....
