I get the same error.
I'm logged into my google account in Chrome, is there something to log in
specifically
for this extension?
Had no issue registering my phone.

It no longer works for me either. Was working fine. I have even reinstalled
it on
my N1.

I'm having the same issue. It keeps telling me to visit
code.google.com/p/chrometophone and download the latest extension. I went as
far as to
redownload the extension and still nothing.

I think you need to uninstall the extension first on chrome, then install again
the
latest one from http://code.google.com/p/chrometophone

Its still the old build in the download section. If you want the new version
you need
to check out the source and load it manually with chrome. (The popup.html has
changed). Works great.

Another option would be to build a new version and upload it to the downloads
section,
but the project owners or committers would have to do this.
