How do you enter a different user ID? -> Sign out

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In Chrome, install this and enter your google apps account user ID.
2. Find that it doesn't work, then uninstall and try your pure gmail 
account.
3. Find that you can't re-enter a different user ID and are now stuck with 
the first (non working) one you entered!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I just want to put in a new user ID.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ok I worked it out on my own...  Need to clear browsing data in chrome, then 
you get 
the chance to enter a new account.

Although it should really be an option in the extension somewhere.  And maybe 
multiple 
accounts like on the phone.
