Robotic/distorted audio #140

I've been having sporadic robotic/distorted audio from my audio sources. Currently using v2.2.1, OBS v27.2.3 and on latest version of Windows 11.

Here's a clip of my game audio being fine and then randomly going robotic: https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousExcitedBaboonBibleThump-D6pEQVNJe-3-2B4g

Usually this continues for a little over a minute before solving itself again. I don't notice a consistent pattern in terms of what causes it to happen and when it happens. Only split audio tracks I have are 1. all audio EXCEPT Spotify and 2. Spotify. Unfortunately I don't know if there's distortion on my Spotify track as well, since it's not saved in the VOD.

I'm having this issue, too. Is there any current fix for it, or something?

Same here. A fix would be highly appreciated

Im also having a similar issue to this. The audio glitch never does it to my voice but once every other video for like 1min it will be robotic or static similar to DanielZint audio. I have 3 audio tracks: Mic, Discord, and Desktop w/o discord. It seems like the issue will arise with my discord track over my desktop w/o discord if Im playing with friends. If Im not playing with friends it will effect my desktop w/o discord track (which is game audio). I attached a clip of just 1 example that this has occurred (Notice that my friends audio is distorted but neither mine nor the game audio is for this case). This has happen multiple time. I've only been using this software for about a year and had been updating to a new patch when I could, in hopes that it would be fixed. I dont have any frame drops or streams dropping when this occurs. Just the audio. On the bright side it only last for a very short time, but still can be upsetting that I cant predict when it occurs cause then you lose good moments too :(

Also experiencing this issue.

Examples: https://www.twitch.tv/raisedbyfinches/clip/ArborealKawaiiPangolinDogFace-Jkm0KnSme4woQZeY https://youtu.be/iMRing_kN0s?t=7340

I've had to completely disable this audio capture for now and pipe out my apps to different devices. It would make my life much easier if it was fixed but I don't know what extra information is useful.

I have the exact same issue. recording - not streaming. separate discord audio then all audio without discord.

the issue occurs roughly once every hour for roughly one minute. sound gains a lot of static. issue effects the 'non-discord-all-audio' source.
