Free Floating Bike Shares #41

In Vienna we have two new free floating systems (ofo, obike). Please add those because it's a great enhancement of available bikes.

I second the request.

I just tried to use this in Seattle and this app only showed the defunct Pronto stations. Apparently they've switched to using ofo, limebike, and spin (each of which wants to install a proprietary app on my phone).

Nextbike also has some cities with stations and a free floating zone (called Flexzone).

Which systems are supported is decided by the underlying Citybik.es API, which currently does not appear to include any free floating systems. I have just asked them whether this is intentional.

Multicycles does handle such systems. (Security warning: this was found via search and I have not attempted to verify their trustworthiness.)

This probably isn't a way to avoid installing proprietary code (an API that allows finding a bike but not unlocking it doesn't eliminate the requirement to install the system's own app), but can be useful for choosing which system to use.
