This is labeled as "2" in the overall plot in issue #19 . It looks like core AL 19 had an extreme first reading before settling down: co2_closeup_2-36d2f5

Raw data plot doesn't show anything surprising. Here's the distribution plot--we're talking about the vertical line on the extreme right: co2_distribution_2-36d2f5

I'm inclined to run a formal outlier test on this sucker, but quite probably then exclude it from consideration, given its large effect on the treatment mean and extreme nature. @apeyton ?

Stil present but much less extreme in normalized data. Closing, as we have no particular reason to think this is a problem.
