Either there’s an algorithm problem (something messing up in slope calculation); or it’s just noise around zero; or it’s genuine CH4 uptake (we’re only seeing negatives with CH4). At least, those are the possibilities that occur to me.

This seems to occur in only one sample, number 1011: 1011

I'm going to assume this is an oddball (1 out of 1524 negative flux) and just remove it.
