Went down the rabbit-hole with nix:

Custom modules to manage zsh, fzf, thefuck and others.
Reviewed zsh auto-complete to avoid using **<tab> and make things smoother.
Minor revision of some scripts.

Intentionally avoiding some home-manager functionality as I want to have finer-grain control over what is being added to may system (and to learn!).

There is more things to do, but for now it is fine (Nix can be confusing as it is).
