Refactor/134 code check Trace Testing Environment

[FR-SON]

This PR implements refactoring for the trace_comparator app. The following changes were made:

• update docstrings, to be more descriptive in case of complex functions
• split large functions into multiple smaller ones
• add typehints where necessary
• remove code duplication by extracting and reusing functionality
• rename variables to be more concise
• fix indents in html files for better readability

This closes #134
