Test framework does not compare with the actual error/exception for negative tests #496

The test framework does not compare the actual exception or error type for 
negative tests. We should extend the test framework to make sure it does.

I am branching this out of issue 330, since the scope of issue 330 was to make 
sure that the tests did not proceed if one of the DDL or Update operation 
failed.

Vinayak, I am not marking this issue as BetaBlocker. We can discuss about it in
