We are currently looking at it. Sorry for the inconvenience. We should be able to fix this and refresh the build in a day or two.

There was an issue with 1.7 Linux 64 builds. It was to do with brackets unable to connect to Node. We have now fixed the problem and refreshed the builds. Could you guys download the Linux 1.7 builds again from brackets.io and check?

Hi,
I've downloaded latest Brackets from the website (Release 1.7 experimental build 1.7.0-16898 (release b0a363b71) - 64 bit build ) and updated to the latest nodeJS 4.4.7 LTS and the problem still persists for me.
I can't even check for updates in Brackets or install the extensions from URL. I am running Linux Mint 17.3 if it helps.
Should I wait for the next release or will it take some time to fix?
Thanks for any answer

Closing since Linux build should have been fixed.
