Multiple documents on split view #13066

The vertical/horizontal view available now is very usefull, although it would be great to make it possible to open more than 2 documents at the same time. To split the window in N active documents, as much as desired by the user.

Surprisingly, I don't see this on our feature backlog yet, but we should add it there so others can vote on this for prioritization... Tagged accordingly.
