Unable to view files #14206

Brackets was working well for about a month.

Suddenly, it will not display file contents. It just shows "Code the Web" screen.

It will open a project and show file explorer tree. The menus will expand, but the menu items are unresponsive. Close button is unresponsive.

No extensions are installed.

I reinstalled brackets and it worked for a couple days, but problem reappeared.

No approach to opening a file will get the contents, from the menu, from the tree or from the context menu in windows.

@MTyson Could you share snapshots or gifs of the issue, so that we can have a look at the issue.

As you told menus are not working. But by any chance can we get logs (bye pressing F12/Deubg > Show Developer Tools)? Apart from this can you try deleting AppData (For windows:- "%appdata%/Brackets")? Are you sure this is not related to any specific project? I mean this happens for every folder open or file open?
