[CLOSED] 406 Error when installing extension from github URL #3072

If I input the URL of the extension's github repo into [File>Install Extensions] and click install I get a 406 error. I've found that using the URL for downloading the *.zip to work fine however.

Hmm, that's weird--we haven't seen that here. Can you open Debug > Show Developer Tools, try the install again, and then look in the dev tools in the Network tab for the failed request (should be in red) and see if there's any interesting info there? Maybe we're requesting the wrong URL, or aren't sending the correct headers for some reason.
