Squash of #3461

• Update colors, layout, file name/extension display, selection triangle.
• Also cleaned up some unused style rules and refactored some duplicate code to parse file extensions.
• Update project dropdown styling
• Fix issue with jstree rename now that html_titles are enabled

The travis error is an npm error unrelated to my commit. I ran grunt jshint locally and found no errors.
