[CLOSED] cannot delete default index.html file #4144

Its giving me a error when I try to delete the default html file

@theory816 are you on windows and using the default Getting Started project? Windows permissions prevent files in the Program Files directory from being deleted.

@theory816 - are you on Windows, and are you editing the Getting Started project? If so, this is a duplicate of #1577 - that project is read-only on Windows. To work on your own content, you should do File > Open Folder with a folder somewhere else on your system that you have access to.

Closing on the assumption that this is in the Getting Started project on Windows and is therefore a dupe of #1577.@theory816 - if that's not the case, please reopen and let us know. Thanks.
