hi!

When the code is too long (like url google map), the cursor is positioned poorly and erases previous character

i put 2 photos, i hope you can understand the problem

@openfunk, can you cut and paste the exact text that is causing the problem into this issue so I can try to reproduce the issue?

I can repro the issue and it is a duplicate of issue #4998. The problem is caused by the hyphens in the href, not the length of the text. Apparently, it doesn't even have to be special hyphens, just regular ones cause the problem as well. Remove the hyphens and you can see that the problem goes away.

I verified that your issue is fixed in CodeMirror but you will have to wait until Sprint 32 at least before this is fixed in Brackets.

Until then, the only workaround I can suggest is not using word wrap when you have long text containing hyphens.
