[CLOSED] [Core][Dark Shell Mac][MAC only]: Buttons on the dialog and icons on the right sidebar cannot work in full screen mode #5193

Steps:

  1. Launch Brackets.
  2. Click Extension Manager icon to open this dialog ( sometimes it also reproduces to other dialogs, like: About dialog, Project Setting dialog, Switch language dialog, etc, but not reproduces every time).
  3. Click the full screen icon on the upper right corner.
  4. Click button Close on the dialog. (sometimes all buttons cannot work, but only Close button reproduces every time)
  5. Press ESC to restore the default window size and close the dialog.
  6. Repeat step3 to full screen mode and click the icons on the right sidebar (Live preview icon, Extension Manager icon, EWF icon if installed.)

Results: At step4 , the buttons on the dialog cannot work. At step6, the icons cannot work ( It doesn't depend on step2-5. these icons cannot work in full screen mode).

Expected: All these icons and buttons should work well.

ENV: MAC 10.8 English OS Build: 0.33.0-9858

High priority to@JeffryBooher. Note that to reproduce this, you have to start with the window at a smaller size (not the whole size of the screen) before going full screen.

@JeffryBooher I can't reproduce it with sprint-32 build for both issues -- close button in dialog and buttons on right side bar. I also tried sprint-32 shell with latest brackets repo and didn't see the issues. So it must be the latest changes to dark shell in sprint 33.

More info: The panels ( Find in, Replace, JSLint error) met the same issue. The panels cannot resize and the buttons on the panel doesn't work in full screen mode (Build 0.33.0-9858). It works with sprint 32 build.

@julieyuan posted a bunch more issues in #5725 that seem like they could all stem from the same problem--please make sure to verify those whenever we have a fix for this.

Fixed in jeff/new-mac-shell. Julie can you take a look at that branch? We backed it out of master due to other problems with 10.9.

Checked this issue together with #5725.@JeffryBooher Both of them are fixed in build jeff/new-mac-shell(0.33.0-10191). Great job! So closing it. Here is snapshot for reference: 5664
