When you set search filters, all filters are stored as a set of filters for all projects. So it is not convenient when you would like to have different sets of filters for different projects. For example, for brackets source project I would filter 'thirdparty' and 'node_module' for search. But I do not want to use any filter for the default Getting Started project. There is nothing for a user to temporarily remove the set of filters except to bring up the filter dialog and delete everything in there. Once you remove them, you will have to re-enter them in the projects that you want to use those filters.
